# USB Media Playback

Easily create and schedule engaging displays, providing customizable layouts and auto-play options for effective messaging.

In USB media playback, you could select to play the content from your USB drive under **Normal Mode** or **Advanced Mode**.

* **Normal Mode**: The easiest way to set up; plays content 24/7 and all files on the USB.
* **Advanced Mode**: Allows you to schedule content at different times; requires selecting specific files.

If you have the needs to select specific file from your USB drive, and set multiple timers, it is better to select Advanced Mode for the scheduling.

You could change the display scale for contents. 

Go to **Setting > Screen Display> USB Scale Display** to choose between **Full Screen** or **Original Scale**.

If you select **"Scale"**, black bars may appear on the screen to preserve the content’s original size.

You could set the Picture duration and Marquee for USB media playback as well.

* **Picture duration**: Set the time interval for switching to the next image.
* **Marquee settings**: Set the marquee text to display on the screen.
